Great Camera!
I should start by saying that I am typically a slave to customer reviews. I spontaneously bought this camera without checking the reviews and have owned it for over 7 months. I cannot say a bad thing about this camera. Very quick to power on (just slide it open), love the internal lens, and it takes pictures very fast. Great camera for going out, fits perfectly in any pocket. I bought an Invisible Shield (about $20) for an iPod touch and sized it to fit the touchscreen, and it works perfectly. I haven't had any battery issues, and I take pictures almost every week. The settings and features are amazing; aside from making my friends envious (everyone wants to use it, the pen feature is really fun) I love this camera.

Great, small flaw
I would actually give this 4 1/2 stars, but i cant, so i gave it 5. I love this camera, it is sleek and modern and good looking. i dont mind having the touch screen because i am careful with it so it wont break. I took it on my vacation recently and was very pleased on how the pictures were turning out: crisp, clear, bright. But when I uploaded them to my computer, they lost their pzazz. Most of them still looked gorgeous, but a few looked fuzzy from blowing up the picture. I don't know if thats a problem possible to fix or not. it could have been my personal flaw, i forgot my tripod so the pictures were not as steady as usual. overall, though, a GREAT camera and i recommend to anyone. (also, i love the editing features!)

Great camera so far.
I've only used the camera a few times on a recent vacation, but was very impressed. The only complaints I have to date are that the case turns the lens sliding cover black and I don't seem to be able to clean it. My camera is red and looks dirty already. I am also very disappointed that I cannot purchase a complete manual for it so that I can learn the details at my leisure. It is such a powerful camera with lots of great capabilities. I have to download over 200 pages to my computer and/or print it. Otherwise, so far so good!

Very nice compact
I replaced a Sony 8MP camera with touchscreen I've had for several years, and this new one is a big improvement. The pics are noticeably better, it's lighter and the touchscreen is more responsive. Overall I am very happy.

You can't. It has no options for manual control. Simplicity of use is the signature of such cameras, for better or worseApr 14, 2011 by

Why does my camera sometimes have NO text display on the screenand not focus?
Every once in a while, I will turn the camera on and it doesnt have any text display on the screen, even when i touch the screen nothing appears. I can take photos, but the camera doesnt focus and just takes really blurry photos. I turn off the camera and just wait a few days and it seems to go back to normal, but then a few days later it will do the same thing. Any suggestions?? Its BRAND NEW camera and started doing this within a couple days of purchasing it.

I would go get it fixed by anyone in your area that fixes camera, but it might not be worth it, you might be better off getting a new camera. Next time get a protective screen cover, that will help a bit, but just don't drop it haha.Jun 28, 2011 by

flash is a momentary source of light, video needs continous.Answer:
Shooting video with a flash is a bit strange surely a constant light source would be better! To answer your question point the light source where you want the light to hit and then once ready press record!Jul 7, 2011 by

When I connect my camera to my computer, it cannot import the image files because they are corrupted.
Certain computers allow me to import the photos, but others don't. I have been using this computer and camera together for 6 months and suddenly it does not allow me to import photos. It says the .jpg files are corrupted or unrecognizable. My computer is a MacBook pro. I took it to the Apple store to see if the software was the problem, but it was not - it happened to their computer as well. I have upgraded to iPhoto '11 and that did not fix the problem. Please help, thanks!

My camera screen doesn't turn on, but I can take a picture because I hear the flash. What do I do?
I was using my camera one morning and then a few hours later when I went to use it later in the day the camera turned on, but the screen was black. I was able to take a picture because I can hear the flash. Any ideas on what is going on with my camera that is only 4 months old?
